A Visit to St Fagan's Welsh Folk Museum

St Fagan's is the Welsh Folk Museum near Cardiff.

The trip was organised so that we could take part in workshops which were being organised
in the Museum to let us see some of the history of the country we live in.

Everyone enjoyed the day, looking round the indoor museum seeing the costumes and machinery.
We also went into the old buildings which have been dismantled from their original sites and
rebuilt at St Fagan's. Because the weather was so cold, all the houses had their fires on, so
we got a real feel for how life would have been in the cold winters, living in those houses.

It was a good day out and everyone said they would like to go back again.

On the way back we stopped in Carmarthen for fish and chips and then made our way home to Glasallt.
