We are pleased to announce completion and registration of our new house Noddfa Gwdihw. The building of this house enables us to be able to offer a home to five young adults with learning disabilities. This will take our registration from 24 to 29 residents.

A generous legacy from Lord Kilmaine, who was a parent and trustee,  has allowed us to build this high spec house. Lady Kilmaine offically opened the house in December 2017.

Our Summer Fair for 2018 was held on Saturday 23rd June.

Another great day enjoyed by everyone. This year we were blessed with the beautiful weather, which allowed people to enjoy our spectacular views.

We would like to thank all the people that donated raffle prizes, and also to thank everyone that came along,  you all helped in  making it a successful and enjoyable day.

We feel that our son is very fulfilled in Glasallt Fawr. The countryside around is glorious and there are many walks and seaside visits possible. Sam adores animals and the farming activities are perfect for him. Sam has real friendships with the other residents who are all around his own age. The staff arrange imaginative trips to theatres, concerts, steam railways, gardens and other local attractions. There are regular visits to the library, the swimming pool and the riding stables. The staff keep us well informed about Sam’s daily activities as Sam has restricted language. We are delighted that he attends Church regularly. Other excellent activities include gardening, life skills, brilliant art & craft work and of course Sam’s favourite, farm workshops. We find the regular parent’s weekends very helpful and everyone feels part of an extended family with strong Camphill ideals. There is much, much more and our thanks to you all.
