Our Team

Each house has an experienced Manager who is registered with CIW and qualified to NVQ level 5. They are supported by a dedicated team of support workers and young volunteers.

The Chief Executive is also registered with CIW as the Responsible Individual and is supported by her PA/Admin Assistant, Finance Manager, Facilities Manager and Residents' Administrator.

We have an in-depth recruitment policy that ensures each member of staff is vetted and recruited appropriately.

Every member of staff is required to complete a full enhanced DBS (Disclosure & Barring Service) check and minimum two references are obtained.

Our Team

Four and a half years ago we were in despair of finding a suitable residential community for our son. He had been at home for nine months following deterioration in his behaviour at his previous residential placement, and understandably people were reluctant to take him on. Glasallt Fawr was prepared to give him a chance for an initial three month trial. Since then his behaviour has been transformed and we now have a son who looks wonderfully well and is obviously very happy, and we cannot thank the staff enough for what they have achieved.
